Directions to ECMX We are located in North Carolina, and give District 29 points, however we are also part of Virginia AMA District 13 and give 13 points. About 85% of our riders come from NC and VA, the other 15% from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The riders outside of NC and VA come from up north for our Mid-Atlantic Winter MX series. Our track is open ALL YEAR! The track is just off Route 17, about 10 miles north of Elizabeth City and 10 miles south of the VA/NC state line. About three hours from Richmond and 45 minutes from the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area. From Northern VirginiaTake I-64 East to I-664 West through Newport News, across the Monitor-Merrimac Bridge-Tunnel. Once across, I-664 merges back with I-64 heading toward Virginia Beach. About three to five miles past the merge, take Route 17 South. Follow 17 into North Carolina until you hit the first stoplight, about 10 miles south of the state line. This is Junction 158. Take a left at the light (east) and a half mile down the road on your left you will see the entrance for Dixieland Motorsports. From across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (Eastern VA, MD)Come across the bay and take I-64 East. Follow the signs that head you toward "Suffolk/Chesapeake I-64 East". Take I-64 East to Route 104 South "Elizabeth City". This turns into Route 17 South. Follow the above directions. From Western VirginiaTake Highway 58 EAst to I-64 West. About five miles east of the merge, take Route 17 South. Follow the above directions. From anywhere in North CarolinaGet to Route 17 North and drive through Elizabeth City. About 10 miles north of Elizabeth City, you come to Junction 158 at a stoplight. Take a right and Dixieland Motorsports is about a half mile on the left. Our track is through the gate and on the right.
